Welcome! (Overview)
Description
Welcome to the ARTH 200 Syllabus Module! In addition to acting as a digital syllabus, this website features images and metadata for each object covered in class, an interactive map of course content, a timeline, and helpful links and further information on both class topics broadly, and individual works of art or architecture. It is intended to act as a tool for accessing and studying course content.
Each item includes the following:
- Object metadata, such as title, date, corresponding figure number in Janson's, and location.
- One or more images of the work.
- A point on the timeline (which can be clicked to pull up the item).
- One or two hotspots on the map. When possible, both original and current location are mapped.
Many objects are further supplemented with one or more of the following:
- Links to helpful videos.
- Relevant news articles.
- Scholarly sources.
- 3D models.
Each geographic/temporal unit is given a different color, and each subcategory within the unit are given a different shade of that color:

Happy exploring!
